Happy day calendula drying after yesterday’s harvest from our local biodynamic grower (Ian Reed) in Narooma, NSW. It has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties as well as antiviral (topically). It has traditionally been used for wound and gut healing and is a lymphatic herb which is used to treat skin conditions such as acne, dermatitis and eczema. I met lots of people on holidays as well as reconnecting with some folk from my previous home town in Talbot, Victoria who were just as surprised to see me as I was them 😃
